WesTech Engineering is a global leader in water and wastewater treatment, but when they wanted to draw more attention to the mobile purification trailers they have available to rent, it was time to get creative. That’s when they called Playwell Bricks.
What WesTech Wanted
During their discovery call, our contact at WesTech Engineers told Playwell about their very popular Mobile Rapisand unit. “There’s a lot of people who aren’t aware that we have a mobile rental, but in fact, we probably have one of the largest mobile rental plates in terms of treated water and wastewater on the planet.” Bottom line? They wanted to build more awareness.
They went on to explain that they have a model of the Mobile Rapisand Trailer that they bring to tradeshows and gets a wonderful reaction from clients. If they had a custom set of this same unit as a giveaway, they could build on that popularity and raise awareness of their mobile rental trailers at the same time.
Customizing the Set
Playwell Bricks designer Yvonne Strijbos designed this set, taking care to get the right look for this industrial set, something she’s developed a positive reputation for on the Playwell team (check out some of her other industrial designs here and here).
Working back and forth with the WesTech contacts, tweaking where needed and added more yellow railing when asked, the custom Playwell Bricks set came to life as something both brands could be proud of.
Conclusion
Upon delivery, WesTech’s Eric Anderson, Vice President of Marketing, let Playwell know “the kits look great, so far we love them and are excited to have them at the upcoming show. Thanks for all your help.” To the team’s delight, WesTech also posted a video on Linkedin of one of their team members building the set, then displaying it alongside the Mobile Rapisand Trailer model that inspired it.
