Nonprofit organization Community Housing Partners (CHP) celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2025. To honour this half-century of creating homes and healthy, sustainable, and affordable communities, Community Housing Partners planned to host a thank you event for their donors. As part of this event, they wanted to offer a memorable gift to their attendees that would align with the event’s theme and what Community Housing Partners does.
A Custom House Design
Community Housing Partners knew that they wanted something house-related for this gift, and were happy to give Playwell Bricks the creative reins once the budget was set. Playwell Bricks designer James May handled this custom design, creating a charming, stylized house. On one side of this house, a custom decal allows the CHP logo to be proudly displayed, and on the other, a QR code leading to Community Housing Partners’ website.
Once this custom design was approved by Community Housing Partners, this set moved into production to bulk manufacture 500 sets for CHP’s special event.
The Build Instructions
In the meantime, Playwell’s graphic designers began work on the Build Instructions. Community Housing Partners provided a file with the written content to include in the instructions. This is a unique opportunity to help gift recipients learn more about your company and brand that Playwell Bricks always recommends clients take advantage of.
Community Housing Partners included an About Us section, their mission statement, and detailed how teamwork builds communities, and how they hoped to inspire the next 50 years. “Every family we serve, every home we renovate, every new development is a piece of the bigger picture. Just like this build, each step matters, and together they create something lasting.”
