Playwell Bricks has just finished up a big project that the team was proud to have been a part of: the RE/MAX Miracle Home Project.

For over thirty years, real estate company RE/MAX has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network. Through a program they call the Miracle Home Program, participating RE/MAX agents designate homes that they are listing as 'miracle homes.'

Once these properties are sold, the RE/MAX agent makes the donation on the seller’s behalf. To date, the Miracle Home Program has enabled RE/MAX to donate over $100 million to the Children’s Miracle Network. Wow!

Playwell Bricks began its life as a not-for-profit to help kids, so you can imagine the excitement when RE/MAX approached us for some very special custom-designed sets for this program.

These sets would be created for children facing medical challenges that required them to spend a significant amount of time in hospital as they grow. The Children’s Miracle Network observed that these kids often bring a special toy along to remind them of home during their stay. With that in mind, RE/MAX commissioned Playwell Bricks to design brick models based on three kids' actual homes.

RE/MAX wanted the house sets to match the interior and the exterior of the real homes, in the playable style of a dollhouse. Since these custom sets were intended to be built by the kids while they were undergoing treatment, the designs also needed to be fun and interactive.

Delighted at the chance to do something special for these kids, CEO Jason Pyett gathered three of Playwell Bricks’ world-class designers to build one of these houses each. Over the next three weeks, we’ll be revealing each of these Miracle Homes right here at the Playwell Bricks’ website. You won’t want to miss a single detail of these “miraculous” designs.
