First known as the Henry Vogt Machine Company in 1880, Vogt Power International specializes in the Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) they started producing 60 years ago. These generators are used with gas turbines to recover the exhaust heat and convert it into steam and electricity.

Vogt Power International were looking for a gift for their employees and wanted to know if Playwell Bricks would be able to design a custom HRSG set. Not only were the holidays coming up, but one of their international teams was poised to celebrate their 15th anniversary. This custom set would have to be designed well enough to pass the scrutiny of these seasoned employees.

Playwell Bricks team member Thiago Brisolla designed the brick HRSG, sending his design to Playwell’s contact at Vogt for feedback. He’d then wait to hear back on the little changes that would make this set come to life in miniature for the people who spend their days working with these generators. A bit of texture there, some colour here, and this set grew into something the Vogt Power International crew could be proud of.
