When the team at data analytics and technology company Resultant was developing their employee recognition program, they had lots of ideas, but weren’t entirely sure what was possible with their budget. To save time and frustration, they brought their ideas to their Playwell Bricks discovery call.

The Resultant team knew that they wanted to offer their employees four separate awards, to be won once a month, for a total of 48 awards in a year. These awards would be in the form of a custom brick set they could display on their desk. Ideally, their employees would want to win all four and thus establish bragging rights with the physical evidence to back it up.

After discussing the budget and going through the kinds of sets that were possible, Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett showed the client the trophy sets available in the Playwell shop. It wasn’t a bad start, but Resultant’s contact wanted something a little more three-dimensional.

Playwell Bricks designer Eric Dubois Yang created the three-dimensional trophy, while the Playwell graphics team created the design for four different printed tiles, one for each award, that would be included with the trophies. These tiles announced the award as the Rezzy Influencer, Rezzy Innovator, Rezzy Accelerator, or Rezzy Originator award.

Once these were all approved by Resultant, these awards went into production, and the packaging and build instructions were under way. Titled “The Rezzy Awards,” these trophy sets would soon be showing up on Resultant desks as their team members win and start collecting all four.
