Paccurate is in the business of helping companies optimize their shipping by packing more efficiently. Paccurate offers a platform that evaluates transportation rates, constraints in packaging, and operational rules to determine the most cost-effective fulfillment options for shipping. They came to Playwell Bricks searching for a trade show giveaway that would represent their brand and what they do.

Playwell’s contact at Paccurate explained that they had envisioned a custom brick set that does what their tool does: a box that their recipient can build, and then have other bricks to pack neatly and efficiently within that box.

This way, when potential clients take this set home after the tradeshow, building the set will bring to mind everything the Paccurate team explained in their booth. Only this time, Paccurate will have their full attention.

Playwell Bricks designer Eric Dubois Yang created the client’s vision as they explained it, incorporating Paccurate’s brand colours into the colours of the bricks packed inside the box.

“We did have an issue where the flex of the bracket on the outside would bend inwards slightly after assembly. This made it too snug a fit, so the bricks weren’t able to come out again after packing, so we trimmed down the thickness of the box with the Paccurate logo sticker. This was a good learning experience for the whole team, because it was an element that couldn’t be simulated with digital design,” Eric explained.

Happily, it was caught in the test build phase every Playwell Bricks set goes through, and Eric’s solution applied well before manufacturing and delivery.

This set just needed one more detail before it was complete: a shipping label. The Playwell graphics team got this designed, and the team at Paccurate signed off on this final concept.

Soon after delivery, the client got back to Playwell to let the team know: “The box was received and the little [brick] packages look great! I handed them out to our internal team today and everyone loved them.”

True to their brand, they also offered a few shipping tips with their feedback. 😉
