Beyond the Booth: Orchestry’s Winning Strategy to Captivate Microsoft's Biggest Fans in Amsterdam
introduction
Founded in 2020, Orchestry is a tech company that uses expert knowledge, AI, and machine learning to help companies organize Microsoft 365 sprawl. Given their inception during the pandemic travel bans, the European SharePoint Conference (ESPC) 2023 in Amsterdam would be the Orchestry team’s first ever live event.
The challenge
ESPC2023 offered Orchestry the opportunity to access thousand of Microsoft users in attendance, but they needed something extra to make them stand out from the crowd, draw attendees to their booth, and encourage those potential clients to book a demonstration. Rather than the same old swag, the Orchestry team wanted to offer something fresh that both represented what Orchestry does for their clients and that would appeal to the techies in attendance.
the solution
During our initial consultation, Orchestry mentioned their conference theme of “M365 Clean-Up” and offered a few of their ideas, one of which was a garbage/bin truck. Our team seized on the garbage truck idea and we swung into action. Playwell Brick’s CEO and Lead Designer Jason Pyett designed the bin truck and, with collaboration from the whole team, gave it dumpster arms that could swing up and over the cab, mimicking the action of dumping the chaos into the bin.
Created in Orchestry’s brand colors, decorated with their logo on the sides of the truck, and made with genuine LEGO® bricks, this little gem was ready to take out the trash!
the results
Orchestry received their custom Orchestry garbage truck sets to offer at ESPC2023, to the delight of the conference attendees. In their blog post about the event, they mention that attendees were “dying to get their hands” on Orchestry’s swag goodies. We were also thrilled to see our sets in action on a video they posted to their LinkedIn, which you can view here.
