After years of development, the team behind Microsoft Xbox’s action role playing game (RPG) Towerborne reached a major milestone. They had created an entire world, and at the center of it all stood the Belfry, a towering windmill and symbol of hope, humanity, and home.

As the project wrapped, the studio wanted a way to honor the journey they'd taken together. Not with something generic, but something that could bring a thousand memories to the surface with a single glance. A gift the team could hold, display, and treasure.

The idea: a custom Playwell Bricks replica of the Towerborne Belfry.

Designer Pedro Lara took on the challenge, transforming the game’s steampunk-inspired structure into a buildable, physical model. At just 142 pieces, every brick became intentional. “The windmill design is simple, but effective and fun,” Pedro said. “It’s the small details that make this set stand out.”

This custom Playwell Bricks set is so much more than a memento, it’s a ticket home, to the world the team created together.
