Self-described “architects of the flexible workforce,” myBasePay offers clients compliance and legal solutions for their contingent workforce. Essentially, they act like an HR team for businesses, simplifying the hiring and managing of contract and freelance workers.

With a major tradeshow coming up, the team at myBasePay had organized a multichannel campaign arranged around a theme. That theme? Architecture and building a myBasePay platform. A custom Playwell Bricks set for potential clients to take home and build would be the perfect giveaway to encapsulate these themes and keep them in mind after the tradeshow itself ends.

Ideally, this set would be a puzzle of the full myBasePay logo, or their B logo. Given Playwell Bricks’ CEO Jason Pyett experience with building brick puzzles, he determined to design this set himself.

After a few iterations, myBasePay shifted gears, requesting a logo showcase instead. Jason designed a capital B to follow their logo and gave it a base for ease of display. MyBasePay approved this set as soon as they saw it.

From there, their attention shifted to the build instructions, another opportunity to expand myBasePay’s brand story. Working with the same architecture theme mentioned earlier, myBasePay kept their mission at the top of builders’ minds with stories beginning with theme throwbacks such as: “every build starts with a vision”, “building the platform,” and “your final build represents more than a brand… it’s a symbol of the flexible workforce.”

Once these stories were embedded into the build instructions, decals produced, and the sets boxed up, this giveaway was ready for it’s big debut at myBasePay’s tradeshow event.
