Playwell’s contact from Mitsubishi Electric explained that they were looking for a custom bricks set of one of their E-Series Chiller units, a water-cooled chiller for use in large applications such as hospital units and office buildings. It was important that this set represent the E-Chiller well, as the Mitsubishi Electric team might like to use it as both an internal gift and a potential lead magnet.

The client also wanted to make sure that this set wouldn’t be too difficult to build for someone who might be a stranger to building with bricks.

Playwell Bricks team member Petrus Gartler designed this custom E-Chiller set, working from a bevy of schematics and images shared from Mitsubishi Electric. Some details weren’t able to be captured within the miniature E-Chiller, so for these, Petrus worked with the Playwell graphics team to design printed bricks that would capture these tiny details, thus keeping them in the set.

Petrus also spent extra time ensuring that the build experience met the client’s desires. A fun, positive build experience is vital to each and every Playwell Bricks set the team produces, but this becomes especially important when the client makes a point of it.

With this custom E-Chiller set, Mitsubishi has an exclusive and unique internal gift and lead magnet to send out and share. The important details of the E-Chiller are represented in this final set, and the build experience is carefully designed to be fun and positive.
