When FormFactor decided to host a giveaway to draw new clients to their booth at the international conferences they attend, they wanted something that would represent their brand, their brand values, and what they do. They knew they had to think outside the box; the usual swag gifts simply wouldn’t suit a company known as a world leader, after all. Enlisting the help of Cubik Promotions, the search for the best swag was on!

Once FormFactor decided that they wanted their prize giveaway to represent one of their products, Cubik Promotions approached Playwell Bricks to see if any of these products could be reproduced as a custom Playwell Bricks set. In their discovery call with Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett, they went through several of FormFactor’s products to see which would be best represented in bricks while meeting FormFactor’s size criteria.

“The CM300xi probe station is the one that stuck,” Jason says. He didn’t waste any time designing the probe station, complete with computer and drawer, and soon the custom Playwell Bricks sets were on their way to FormFactor.

The sets soon made their debut at the 2024 International Microwave Symposium in Washington, DC, and were later spotted at the European Microwave Conference as well. These bricks get around!
