Fluidstack’s Superchip Gets the Playwell Bricks Treatment
parts count: 450 pieces

Some projects make Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett’s brain tingle more than others, and this commission to recreate Fluidstack’s GB200 in brick form, was definitely one of those. This superchip is essentially an exascale computer for AI companies. It doesn’t get much more state-of-the-art than this!

TECH MOVES FAST
While Jason knows the world of tech moves fast, this particular project was ESPECIALLY fast. “This was a super rush project,” Jason explains. “We had less than a week to do the design and get a prototype to the client.” For reference, this is something that generally takes five weeks between design and graphics approvals, test build, and shipping.
“Amazingly, we pulled it off,” says Jason, beaming. “When the client is full onboard and gives the designer they are working with (in this case, Jason himself) a really quick response time, our ability to produce a finished design is incredibly fast.”
THE DESIGN ITSELF
As for the design of the set itself, Jason explains that “I was mimicking an existing graphics chip, which are incredibly complicated.” Of course, he loved every minute of it. “It felt like I was designing a mini futuristic city with all the streets and various buildings,” he says with a grin.
