the challenge
Time was running out for Fluidstack to find the perfect client gift ahead of a major trade show event. They came to Playwell Bricks with what would normally be an impossible timeline, but CEO Jason Pyett lined out exactly what the design team would need in terms of response time from Fluidstack. He determined that if the Fluidstack contact could meet those response times, the designers could pull out all the stops and make it in time.
the solution
Fluidstack requested that Playwell Bricks transform their GB200 superchip, an exascale computer powering AI companies, into a custom set that captures its incredible complexity. Given the speed required to get this set out in time, Jason decided to do this design himself. “It felt like I was designing a mini futuristic city with all the streets and various buildings,” he says with a grin.
the result
Jason had the design of this set completed and a prototype sent to Fluidstack within seven days, a part of the process that would normally take five weeks between design approvals and shipping. Fluidstack was thrilled with the design and Playwell Bricks immediately moved into production, making sure Fluidstack had their custom Playwell Bricks sets on hand for their important conference.
