Everything is Awesome in Manvel, Especially the Logo

In 2023, the City of Manvel in Texas (U.S.A.) had a wonderful idea for their annual State of the City meeting and event. Why not make it brick themed? After all, the theme of the event was ‘Everything is Awesome in Manvel’ and few things are as awesome as bricks (I might be a little biased, of course).
They could have bricks adorning the tables and the PowerPoint slides to accompany the presentations. There was only thing missing: a custom brick model of the City of Manvel’s municipal logo. That’s when the city staff contacted Playwell Bricks.
Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett assured them that this was certainly possible and started the design himself without delay. “We take a picture and import it into our software,” Pyett explains. “Then we clean up the graphics.” In this case, he took special care to make sure the words and round shapes looked their best. “We replace the parts that need to be replaced and once that’s taken into account, we can really create a mosaic like this from anything. Depending on the size, of course.”
One thing that’s tricky to tell from the renders of this custom Playwell Bricks mosaic is the size. Clocking in at over 1.5m, or 5 feet, square, this set is massive! The Playwell Bricks team was delighted to see the finished model make an appearance in the recording of the event posted to YouTube. In the screenshot from that video below, you can get a true idea of the size by seeing it next to Manvel city manager, Dan Johnson.
The Playwell Bricks team was also excited to hear that Manvel city Mayor Dan Davis helped to build the model, which led several of our designers to show a sudden interest in possibly becoming mayors themselves.
