The client explained to the Playwell Bricks that Amazon had an internal mascot named Peccy, named so for Amazon’s operating principles, or “Peculiar Ways.” Peccy is a familiar face on posters and internal memos, and they’ve also been featured in multiple swag items over the years. Playwell’s client had noticed that Peccy swag had always been popular with the crew, so it was a tradition that they wanted to carry on with this gift.

This is the element of thoughtfulness: the client noticed something the team liked and built on that to create a holiday gift they’d appreciate. It isn’t complicated, but by doing so, he’s made sure that this gift will be appreciated and deepen his team’s loyalty.

From this concept, the Playwell Bricks team got to work designing Peccy with a palette and boxes to represent the work done by the client’s team in the warehouse.

The client also requested the Amazon smile logo to be placed on the boxes, as well as decals that read “Peak 2025” and showcase the Den 5 logo. Peccy’s chest was also adorned with “Den 5 Wolfpack,” making Peccy a part of the client’s team. These details capture a snapshot of the team as they are at this point in time; something that will resonate and create connections long after the holiday decorations are put away.
