Colorbiotics specializes in colouring mulch, providing pigments and equipment to the mulch industry. When Colorbiotics wanted a giveaway for current and future clients, their marketing agency, Flynn Wright, contacted Playwell Bricks to see what was possible.

Dying mulch creates a uniform colour preferred for landscaping purposes, while also sequestering precious moisture below the mulch and suppressing weeds for low maintenance care. Many companies employ recycling and other methods to produce mulch, while Colorbiotics specializes in colouring that mulch.

Since Colorbiotics quite literally delivers colour to their clients, a custom Playwell Bricks set of a Colorbiotics delivery truck became the idea that stuck.

Playwell Bricks designer Thiago Brisolla brought this set to life as a custom set, adjusting colours and details until Flynn Wright loved the finished set. When asked, Thiago says that, “My favorite feature of this project is the turntable element representing the truck axle. Even though it’s a small design, it provides very realistic mechanics for the truck.”
