Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett designed this set himself. “These were created as a lead generation tool,” Jason explains. The contact told him that they wanted a set that looked like an office building and left the architectural details to his creativity. Jason has several architectural sets in his portfolio, and he dug right in.

“At the top of the building, Caxy wanted us to play the logos of the brands they would be sending these to,” Jason tells me. This is all in line with Caxy’s branding promise of ‘building your business.’

“The boxes had to be individually customized too,” Jason explains. “Which was a tonne of work.” On the box and in the instructions, Caxy’s own logo had a place, but on the build itself was the potential client. This was clever marketing decision, because what brand wouldn’t want to hold on to and display a brick-built project that has their own logo at the top? Then, whenever the recipient sees it, they’re reminded of Caxy and the gift.

So, the question remains, did this clever marketing campaign work? Jason laughs, but there’s a note of admiration in his voice. “While our contact didn’t provide any details, I can say that it worked so well that Playwell Bricks got a few calls from those clients.”
