Apartment List is dedicated to matching renters with rental listings. Their mission? To get everyone into a home they love. They also have a strong building mentality as a company, encouraging their team to make contributions and keep improving the company as a whole. Some team members, they’ve noticed, have made significant contributions to this ethos.

Apartment List wanted a custom design with a printed plate that they could give as an award to their top performers. They envisioned a brick house, keeping to their mission, and in their purple brand colour. The set should symbolize building and the award recipient as a builder, for the work they’d put in to help build the company into what it is.

Playwell Bricks team member Thiago Brisolla handled the set design, incorporating a builder’s hammer as part of the roof of the purple house. In front of the hammer, on the roof of the house, would be a plaque, where a tile printed with the recipient’s name would be placed. It’s a clever, clean design that commands attention and anyone would be proud to display at their workstation or, perhaps, their award shelf.

With this custom-designed set, Apartment List has a meaningful award to bestow upon the team members that have made a significant contribution to building their company. It’s something that embodies the building ethos and can fill the recipient with pride as they build and display this set, cherishing the moniker of “Builder.”
