When the Alarmquip team wanted a trade show giveaway that would speak to that sense of innovation, they reached out to Playwell Bricks.

During the initial discovery call, Alarmquip’s representative wasn’t yet sure what they wanted the subject of their set to be, but they knew they wanted something that would wow the crowd at their upcoming trade show. They’d had a giveaway a few years previously that had clients lining up at their booth, and they wanted to see that happen again.

After going over the budget and deliberating with their team, the client settled on the idea of a rocket to symbolize innovation and boundless possibilities.

Playwell Bricks team member Eric Dubois Yang designed this set, paying special attention to the flames that the client wanted to see coming from the rocket. It took a few tries to settle on the right balance of fins and flame to get the look the client wanted. Eric utilized every size of flames available in brick form to mock up multiple designs to show the client what was available until he hit the one the client loved, and this project moved from design into production.

Then came the test: would the trade show crowd react the way the client had wanted? Happily, Alarmquip’s Technical Operations Manager let the Playwell team know that. “The rockets went fantastic at the conference this week! What a buzz they created! This is the exact reaction we were after. Thank you all for your help on this project, we were super impressed with the quality.”
