Ahlers Logistics is a logistics company that had a major, long-term client coming up on a major milestone anniversary that they wanted to celebrate. There was an abundance of options to choose from, but sometimes that much choice makes the final decision more difficult. After some deliberation, they decided upon the mining shovel, an iconic model, which they have been transporting all over the world during the last decade.

Once this decision was made, Playwell Bricks designer Kostik Poloskin got to work. Part of Kostik’s process is to collect similar designs from all over the internet to create a digital bulletin board of inspiration. Once he has that made, he works out what he likes best of those designs, and his own ideas start coming to the surface in his imagination. “I’m proud of all my projects,” he tells me, and he approaches each one with the same care.

“The hand with the digger bucket is the most complicated aspect of the builds,” Kostik goes on. “I spent more time on that section than any other. I didn’t get the movability and functionality,” he adds with a note of frustration, “but the visualization is perfect.”
