Acxion Foodservice had a major event coming up where they’d invited the CEOs of various restaurant chains to gather and build those relationships. They wanted to put together a collection of engaging goodies for those CEOS that would put Acxion’s clients front and center. One of these clients was none other than Avocados from Mexico.

From Playwell Bricks, Acxion Foodservice commissioned a custom avocado set, and they knew exactly what details they wanted included. Fresh from the discovery call, Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett told the team, “we need an avocado that splits into two with the seed in the middle, which will pop out. It should be a large, life-sized avocado and as close as we can get to actual avocado colours, showing the different bands of colour.”

After some shuffling, Playwell Bricks designer Kostik Poloskin “started imagining this set and then got to building it.” He goes on to explain that the set “has two parts and there was such a small space to keep those parts together, it was tricky.”

After Acxion Foodservice received their prototype of the custom avocado, they requested the addition of printed bricks bearing the Avocadoes from Mexico logo, as well as a stand to use for display purposes. Kostik attended to these changes without issue and soon the avocadoes were sent for production.
