WesTech Engineering knows how to clean water. In fact, they’re a global leader in water and wastewater treatment. Their stationary water purification units are immensely popular and they also have a mobile version, the Mobile Rapisand Trailer, that clients can rent when required.

“We probably have one of the largest mobile rental plates in terms of treated water and wastewater on the planet,” WesTech told Playwell Bricks during their meeting. The challenge was that they didn’t feel that there was enough awareness in the industry that these mobile purification trailers are available to rent.

WesTech explained that they have a model of the Mobile Rapisand Trailer that they bring to tradeshows. “It gets a wonderful reaction from the crowd.” They were thinking that, if they had a custom set of this same unit as a giveaway, they could build on that existing popularity and raise awareness of their mobile rental trailers at the same time.

Playwell Bricks designer Yvonne Strijbos got to work translating this industrial trailer into bricks, working with WesTech’s feedback and suggestions to bring this custom set to life.

The result was a custom Playwell Bricks set that WesTech Engineering could bring to their tradeshows to raise awareness about their rental trailers. They shared a video of one of their team building the set on Linkedin, followed by a flood of comments from both fresh viewers and tradeshow goers who received and loved this set. Awareness? Most definitely raised.
