Every once in a while, Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett likes to throw the Playwell team a curveball, like the time he announced he was thinking of buying a church.

After assuring the team that no, he wasn’t starting some sort of brick-building cult, Jason explained that a church property in his Nova Scotia village was in trouble. It needed some repairs and a new purpose.

This was a chance for him to give something back to his community, and his vision for the property was of a vibrant community space. The acoustics in the church made it perfect for a music venue, or plays, or whatever else the community might need. Once the wheels started turning in his mind, the ideas tumbled out one after another.

So, what’s a Jason to do?

Well, he did what Jason does best. He designed a custom Playwell Bricks set of the church to raise funds for the necessary repairs and upgrades. He even included a light kit to show off the fancy stained glass windows.
