What if you could bring your team’s most iconic moment to life in bricks?

Second Story Collections approached Playwell Bricks to create a custom set of the BorgWarner Trophy, the official trophy of the Indianapolis 500 and a historical record of every Indy 500 winner since 1911. Each winning driver’s face is sculpted into the trophy in a checkerboard pattern, alongside their name, year, and average speed.

It was up to Playwell Bricks to reproduce this level of detail in a custom bricks set measuring only 5–7 inches tall, and team designer James May was definitely up to the task. The final design incorporated 56 printed pieces and four decals per set. Complete with a wreath of the traditional white flowers, this set is definitely a winner, and all the recipients have the chance to feel like winners too.
