Goelzer Investment Management is a registered investment advisory firm that has been in operation for 56 years. When it comes to motivating their employees, they have a plan that works: an annual theme to keep their team on track and moving forward.

It was one of these annual themes that drew Goelzer Investment Management to Playwell Bricks. They wanted a custom airplane set showcasing their annual theme, logo, and core values. The theme was “movin’ on up” to match the company goal of scaling up their entry-level threshold for investors.

They explained that they wanted the airplane to look like it was in the act of taking off. The model would be produced in their black, gold, and white brand colours. Goelzer Investment Management’s logo should be visible on the outside of the plane, along with the theme and year. On the inside of the plane, they wanted bricks printed with their core values of trust, integrity, respect, thoughtfulness, and commitment.

Playwell Bricks designer Garrett Gourley brought this idea to life. “I really enjoyed capturing the essence of a private jet in such a small form,” he says. “Having the wings swept back and rear engines build with only a few pieces was a fun challenge.”

The final set showcases all the features requested, the logo, the theme and year, and especially those internalized core values. With this custom Playwell Bricks set, Goelzer Investment Management had a fun and tangible representation of their annual theme employees could put on display, keeping them motivated and movin’ on up.
