Web-based graphics editing software company Figma had hit the bricks to find a year-end gift for their team. They wanted something that represented Figma both physically and metaphorically.

THE PUZZLE
During their discovery call with Playwell Bricks CEO Jason Pyett, they came up with an idea for custom designed set of their logo that was also a puzzle box. The exterior would sport the Figma logo, while the puzzle represented the problem-solving skills the Figma team brings to their software.
Jason handled the puzzle design himself. While it was challenging “to create a puzzle slider in one plate thickness,” Jason recalls that, “It was incredibly rewarding to design a puzzle within a small package that both delivered a challenge to the recipient and was also a branded item.”
the experience
Figma’s Global Engagement Manager was thrilled with the puzzle. “In our first call, Jason came up with a genius design and we were able to skip the long review and revision process we normally do.”
They went on, “Playwell Bricks was delightful to work with, love product. Ten out of ten. [We wanted] a great end of year gift to delight our employees and you definitely succeeded.”
Jason’s experience was equally positive. “I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with such a fun organization like Figma.”
