EFI-Solutions is an industry leader in providing custom-engineered and custom-built enclosure systems for the water, wastewater, and mining industries. When the team at EFI-Solutions wanted something that represented their product to give out at trade shows, they contacted Playwell Bricks to commission a custom set. 

In their discovery call, the client explained that most of EFI-Solutions’ systems are water pump stations. Their product is modular, and they build to fit their client’s needs, fitting the pumps and creating the building around them. 

“Our target audience is usually engineers. You can only get so many pens and USB flash drives and key chains.” To break out of that generic gifting cycle, they wanted a custom Playwell Bricks sets of their enclosure systems. “I think this would be something that engineers would like and potentially sit on their desk, reminding them of our brand,” EFI-Solutions.

Playwell Bricks team member Petrus Gartler designed this set, using diagrams, photos, and even an AI mock-up that the client shared. The Playwell had to explain that oftentimes AI invents bricks that don’t exist in reality, but the render still helped the team to understand the client’s vision. 

Petrus studied these images to create the first concept that was sent to the client. These first concepts are not intended to be the final set, but rather a jumping off point where the client points out things that need to change and details that can be improved. The client was happy that Petrus included a crane feature, which is an important selling point, but also wanted a ladder removed that the AI render included, but didn’t exist in the real building. Likewise, they requested a door to be added to the side. 

Logos were included via decals; one on a section in the foreground designed precisely to showcase the EFI-Solutions logo, and also along what would otherwise be a boring stretch of wall on the back of the set. Custom Playwell Bricks sets come with two decals, but more can be added at the client’s request for a small fee, and in this case, a third decal was added to include the EFI-Solutions on the door as well. 

This custom Playwell Bricks set gives EFI-Solutions a giveaway honed to their target audience that’s a refresh of the usual, boring swag. These sets showcase EFI-Solution’s product in a way that reflects its own nature and recipients will want to keep on their desk, reminding them of the EFI brand and keeping them in mind when the next project begins.
