Playwell Bricks CEO Jason recently discovered the coffee badging phenomenon and shared it with the team at our weekly meeting. Basically, coffee badging is when a hybrid worker with mandatory in-office hours to fill shows up to work and puts in some face time at the office. That’s usually enough time to grab a coffee and nod to the boss with their coffee cup in hand to prove their presence… and then return home to do their actual work remotely.

According to that article, some 58% of hybrid workers have admitted that they’ve coffee-badged before, and another 8% want to. Hmm…
